Brassband Rijnmond has a vacancy on 1st baritone and on cornet from 1 November 2022.

The band rehearses on Wednesday evening from 20:00 to 22:30 in Maassluis and during the weekend if we are preparing for an event. Brassband Rijnmond plays in the championship division of the Dutch Brassband Championships and also takes part in an annual concert competition at home or abroad, such as “Dutch Open Brassband Championships”, “Flemish Open” or “French Open”. The band organizes its own concert 'Brass Connections' every year and a tradition has been built up with the popular Christmas concerts in Maasland. They also regularly participate in other productions, such as with the Flemish Jacques Brel interpreter Micheline Van Hautem and the Limburg bloas music troubadour Gé Reijnders. The band has been led by the ever enthusiastic and skilled conductor Chris Derikx since April 2020. Brassband Rijnmond consists of ambitious amateur musicians, conservatory students and a few professional musicians.
