Musicians, friends, family and acquaintances from all over the world witnessed a special performance by Daniël during his Bachelor final exams on June 13 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.

Brass band Rijnmond led by Luc Vertommen had the honor of accompanying its former member in playing two fantastic tuba solos. With a beautiful deep and full tuba sound and fabulous technique, Daniël managed to silence the well-filled hall.

In a beautiful program composed by himself, Daniël was also accompanied by a septet from the Provincial Brass Band Groningen and by pianist Daniël van der Hoeven.
It was a very successful performance and the audience appreciated the performance with a standing ovation that lasted several minutes and clearly enjoyed this excellent musician.

The jury expressed its appreciation for his enthusiasm and his great performance and awarded this with a mark of 9.5.

Daniël thanked his teacher, parents, and the participating musicians who had given his performance extra shine.

Brassband Rijnmond has enjoyed contributing to this success and is very proud of its former member and wishes him good luck with his further career.
