On Saturday July 10, 2021 Brassband Rijnmond will participate in a mini festival in De Oosterpoort in Groningen. This festival is organized as an alternative to the Dutch Open Brassband Championships (DOBC), which unfortunately could not take place this year.

High-level brass bands and brass ensembles will give an appearance in Groningen on 9 and 10 July 2021. Brasspass.tv makes video recordings and, together with some interviews and archive material, makes a band portrait that will be broadcast on this website.

Brassband Rijnmond will provide a concert for an audience of up to 50 listeners. Recordings will also be made of this concert that will be broadcast at a later date. The program of Brassband Rijnmond consists of dazzling brass band works from a distant past and a number of fascinating and appealing, recent brass band compositions by Dutch composers.

For Brassband Rijnmond this will be the first concert in a very long time. The band is therefore very motivated and is looking forward to this wonderful event.
