On Friday 15 July 2022 Brassband Rijnmond was the study orchestra for 5 students during the international conducting course at the WMC in Kerkrade.

Under the inspiring leadership of course leader Luc Vertommen, the students conducted Brass Band Rijnmond. The candidates, who each dealt with their own part of the program, were given tips and tricks by this expert brass band conductor. It turned out to be instructive not only for the candidates, but also for the orchestra, which each time had to focus on a new musical leader. Brass band Rijnmond played concentrated and the students had visible pleasure and pleasure in being able to lead the band. Afterwards, Chris Derikx, on behalf of the organization that was in the hands of the WMC and the Association of Orchestra conductors, thanked the participants for their participation and the course leader Luc Vertommen for his expert and inspiring leadership. With this last performance, Brassband Rijnmond concluded this season and the conductor and members will enjoy a well-deserved holiday.
