On Saturday October 29, 2022 Brassband Rijnmond under Chris Derikx achieved a nice 5th place with 92 points during the Dutch Brassband Championships in TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.

This annual brass band battle featured 9 renowned brass bands from the championship division. They all performed at a high level. The band is very satisfied with this result in the middle bracket and the appreciation of the jury. Brassband Rijnmond gave a beautiful and above all musical performance of the obligatory work “Redbad” by composer Jan de Haan in an almost completely filled hall. The band and conductor are proud of the result achieved and the final verdict of the jury.
